Qualifying in 1999, Susan has practiced family law throughout her career as a solicitor. Having previously worked in London, Hertfordshire and Essex she joined McGuire & Partners Law Firm in 2012 and is the Head of the Family Department. Susan aims to support her clients with constructive, realistic advice and an understanding but pro-active approach.

Specializing in family matters, Susan has particular expertise in achieving financial settlements on the breakdown of relationships and dealing with issues concerning children which is reflected in her accredited specialist membership of Resolution. She is also a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel. Susan specializes in all areas of family law including divorce and separation, financial settlements, children disputes, domestic violence, cohabitation agreements and disputes, pre-nuptials and civil partnerships.

Susan undertakes voluntary work for the Citizens Advice Bureau and has forged relationships with local women’s groups providing advice on domestic violence including forced marriage matters.In her spare time Susan enjoys films and theatre, especially musicals, and is an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.
